What modifications to the boat are required?

With the Duodrive being a single independent assembly which removes any alignment issues then for retro-fitting we simply install the Duodrive Shoe© in-place of the previous stern-tube and installation of the Duodrivetrain™ thereafter is straight forwards – there is no need to otherwise reinforce the hull, change controls or steering elements.
